Beagle Channel

Celebrating 25 Years of tour excellence
Close

One of the three navigable passages through the islands of the southern tip of South America, the Beagle Channel was named after the HMS Beagle, which surveyed the area on its first voyage to the area. Ushuaia is the largest settlement on its shores, and it’s from here that you can embark on boat trips to spot some of the huge variety of birds and animals that call its waters home. You may spot penguins, sea lions, huge colonies of birds, dolphins and whales, as well as being able to appreciate the dramatic Patagonian around you.
