Upon arrival at La Paz airport this morning, you will be met and transferred to your hotel. Peruse the Witch's Market, before visiting the Museum of Ethnography and Folklore, the cathedral, and enjoying a ride on South America's longest cable car. Later, visit Moon Valley, a mysterious rock formation to the south of the city created by wind and water erosion. (L)
Take an early morning flight to Uyuni and start your adventure. Drive towards the Siloli Desert to see the impressive Stone Tree, a unique rock formation in the form of a tree. Continue to the impressive Cordillera de los Frailes, home to colourful mountains and impressive volcanic lagoons, each varying in colour from greens and light blues to deep reds. (B,L,D)
Rise early to journey into the breathtaking Salar de Uyuni, the world's largest salt flat. View the Ojos de Agua, the bubbling pools that form when the underground salt rivers rise to the surface, and the Isla Incahuasi, a fish shaped island containing ancient fossils and an array of giant cacti.
