We really enjoyed our tour of Japan. It was a very good group and Shioji was one of the best guides we've ever had - warm, confident, knowledgeable, encouraging, amusing and always helpful. Nothing was too much trouble for her. It was full-on but we expected that and, being retired, we could recover once home. There were a large number of temples/shrines but, again, we knew that from the itinerary. However, although we have travelled widely, we weren’t keen on most of the Japanese food!

Wonders of China

During our visit to China from 6th June 2024 to 24th June 2024, we were pleasantly surprised to discover a world that defied our preconceived notions. Our guide, George Pu, showed us the true beauty of China, surpassing all expectations. In fact, he is undoubtedly the best guide we have ever had, and we have traveled to several destinations around the world, our first being with Wendy Wu, and it certainly won't be our last as we are eager to visit again soon.

Upon our arrival in China and meeting George, we had carried misconceptions fueled by propaganda from my own nation. However, we quickly realized that China is a stunning place that I now deeply envy. George's pride in China is unmistakable, and his passion is both admirable and infectious. His love for his homeland has left a profound impact on both myself and my husband, and we will always treasure the wonderful experience he provided us and the way he showcased the beauty of China.
