Well organised guide was fantastic and the group of 24 got along famously
Only downside an 18/20 hour journey to get there and back

Just what I wanted it to be.

This is the shortest of the Wendy Wu offerings and I was pleased I took advantage of the Hiroshima extension.

Wendy Wu are very well established in the in the Australian & UK tourist markets. They provide a very organised itinerary, where everything is all in (except drinks). As one of only 2 singletons on the tour I was pleased about that, but in a very busy schedule, understandably there isn't a massive amount of free time. Their pretour reading is very detailed.

One thing it didn't appreciate was the 20 hour journey via a 3 hour stopover in Abu Dhabi from Manchester. I might have sought a direct flight from London.

As another traveller said to me beforehand, there is nothing to dislike about Japan. She was right. From waking up to see Mount Fugi, the Tea Ceremony, the Calligraphy lesson, the beautiful shrines to ,the amazingly poignant experience in Hiroshima.

It is hot and it is humid for a Brit, never below 31 degrees in Sept. Even the Aussies said they wouldn't be out in this heat.

I'd use these people again in the Far East certainly.

This is an excellent introduction to Japan but it is mis-sold as a 'week in Japan' as it is actually only five days touring. It was a week away from your home country but not a week in Japan as the tour is only five nights there.
Wendy Wu need to correct this.

Loved the tour. Wendy Wu also helped us to book two extra nights before and after the tour so we could see more of Japan. Tour guide was amazing. Food and sights were delightful. Cannot recommend more.

The trip was amazing and the only reason I gave 4 stars is because it was rushed, not enough time to enjoy the touristic sites. The first day in Tokyo was extremely rushed and packed with only 30-40 minutes for some visits. Not enough free time to explore the local areas. Hotels were very good, food as well but too much food in the evening. Overall I enjoyed the trip.

Fabulous holiday! Loved everything about it. Visited brilliant places & not just the usual tourist ones. Guide & drivers were excellent with lots of local knowledge.

Excellent organisation. Friendly and knowledgeable guide. Comfortable hotels and great food. Saw so much more in a short time than we would ever have been able to do on our own. Will definitely travel with Wendy Wu again.

Such an amazing experience! Was saddened that I couldn't see more, but given how much I did see I'm surprised it was packed in such a small amount of time. The only issue would be a choice at dinner. It was Japanese food one day and western food the other, this continued for the week. I wished it was only Japanese food. I mean, I was on holiday in a eastern country I would've expected only Japanese food as I live in the UK and I already eat western food

I had a couple of issues but as you have to cater for many tastes in a large group, I accept this
