This trip, my first visit to China, was everything I hoped it would be. We went to some of the most iconic sites - Great Wall, Forbidden City, Tiananmen Square as well as a delightful few days cruising the Yangtze River. The guides were well informed and always really helpful. And the group of my fellow solo travellers was friendly and great company.

A fantastic, intense insight in to the 'must see' parts of China.
Fantastic organisation, a perfect route, every detail taken care of.
The tour guide was amazing, and very knowledgable. The food was great, travel comfortable (internal flight, bullet train, coach). The river cruise was exceptional. The staff were amazing, the excursions were great value for money and very interesting. The food was beautiful.

We absolutely loved our two week tour to China. The organisation was exemplary and the tour guide- Ruby- was the best!

Cruise Guide Betty was brilliant. Nothing too much trouble. Throughly enjoyed all the places we visited in China. Would like to come back to certain places and spend some more time soaking up all the atmosphere and absorbing all the history and culture. But for the first visit it was amazing and has filled our minds and hearts with glorious memories.

We saw the main tourist things in China, such as the wall, pandas and Terracotta warriors and had a relaxing cruise on the Yangtze river with trips from the boat, including some beautiful caves, and had talks on the boat to keep us occupied when cruising.

It was a disadvantage having to leave our hotel in Shanghai at 4.30am, yes, 4.30 am, to get our internal flight to pick up the boat that afternoon. So it was a very full-on tour. Glad I did it, and plenty of photos and good memories including evening shows.

Full on holiday with lots to see and do. Lots of walking lots of steps but well worth the effort.
Good local tour guides, who looked after us well.
Good support from the UK team prior to going.
Every aspect had its own “wow” moment.
