A fully packed holiday which did live up to expectations and exceeded by the prescence of an excellent guide who was with us throughout the holiday.

I would recommend this holiday to anyone who would like to see Vietnam in a very condensed period of time

Really great tour, only frustration was the last day, where we had to check out at 12.00 noon, but were not picked up for our flight until 9.30pm and no late check outs available, and nowhere to shower or change. Long day !

The tour itself was fine. The meals were the same things for lunch and dinner and after 12 days everyone on the tour was fed up and wanted something different. It would have been nice to have some time to do things on your own, like shopping. It was an early starts every day and then about 1 hour to get ready for the evening meals. The tours were very long winded at times in the very hot weather and people started to walk off. The guide was very good and helpful. Very disappointed that we did not go to the show as advertised. We were told before travelling that the Tonkin show was not running and it would be a similar one. The night before we saw this show from across the river and it looked brilliant but when we were taken to a show it was not the one we had seen the previous evening it was just acrobats which was very boring. Hoi An is famous for its lanterns at night but we never even saw this. Wendy Wu needs to realise that people do not want to know about the very ancient history all the time but would like to see the way of life in Vietnam now. I love history but it goes over your head when there is too much of it.

Phone call centre to enquire about additional nights on published tour. Natasha handled all my questions very professionally adding suggestions from her own experience. Called back two days later to book holiday. Different operator but not a problem. All details were on screen with additional flights and hotels. All very smooth now booked and looking forward to my trip.

We were very pleased with all aspects of this trip. The booking process was straightforward and all queries were dealt with professionally.

The tour was well organised and everything went according to plan. Our local guide Dinh was exceptional and due to his willingness to answer all questions and volunteer all sorts of information - historical, sociological, geographical - we felt that we really got to know something of the culture and the people of Vietnam. The activities were great fun and the visit to the vegetable garden and cooking class in Hoi An especially stand out.
The cruise in Halong Bay - despite the chilly/wet weather - was the highlight it promised to be.

All accommodation was good and the transfers smooth and well organised. It was a bonus not having to carry our own luggage! The food was also very good with only a couple of the western meals being a bit disappointing.

This was our first experience of an organised group tour and we were more than pleasantly surprised at how much we enjoyed it. The group of people were friendly and enthusiastic and it was good get to know each other over dinner and to compare notes on the day.

It was a wonderful way to celebrate my husband's 70th birthday. I had organised it as a surprise for him and he loved it.

Japan is now on my wish list!

Very knowledgeable guide, comfortable hotels, good food and great company. Highly recommended.

It covered every base that we wanted out of the holiday, culture, food and history.
The in country guide Luc was brilliant and so helpful and supportive of us..
The booking staff at Wendy Wu were also really helpful.
The selected hotels were very good also with excellent helpful staff
Vietnam Airlines were really very good on both the inward flight and the return home.
