Food in Air China Business class has been crafted partnership with Quanjude - a beloved Chinese restaurant chain. Quanjude has been creating incredible Chinese fare since its establishment in Beijing in 1864 and is famous for its mouth-watering roast duck. Onboard you can expect to tuck into Chinese delicacies like Peking Duck and Sichuan Spiced Beef Brisket followed accompanied by delicious traditional side-dishes and desserts. Or if you prefer, Western options are available.

Why May is a great month to visit Japan

May is a wonderful time of year to travel in Japan. With the busyness of cherry blossom over and the temperatures not too hot or cold, it’s ideal for touring.

Although the cherry blossoms will have faded, Japanese spring has only begun! With wisteria, nemophila blossoms, moss floss and so many more colourful flowers blooming across cities and countryside – there are plenty of impressive floral displays to admire. Elsewhere, the lush greenery of the fields and forests are at their most vibrant and make for awe-inspiring scenery.

It’s also sumo season! You’ll have the opportunity to observe Japan’s national sport which dates all the way back to 700AD. Tournaments are held in Tokyo in May, and during the season the area is decorated with colourful flags as fans gather to catch a glimpse of their favourite wrestlers.
